Important Information

Important information about the Beggarwood GP Practice for 6th – 9th September 2019

North Hampshire Urgent Care (NHUC) is delighted to be taking over the Beggarwood Surgery from the 9th September.

As part of the transfer from Cedar Medical, essential work will be taking place over the weekend of the 6th of September. We’re working hard to make the transition as smooth as possible, but we’re grateful for your patience while it all goes through as there may be some temporary disruption to appointments, test results and routine services.  Making sure you request your repeat medications in plenty of time will help you to avoid unnecessary delays.

The systems used to store and manage your records will be temporarily unavailable from the afternoon of Friday 6th September to the following Monday morning.  However a summary of your records will be available to the GP or nurse should you need to be seen for urgent care over that time.

So that we can get this work completed as soon as possible, the practice will close on Friday 6th September from 1pm and if you require urgent medical assistance that afternoon then please contact 111.

Urgent on the day access appointments only will be available on Monday 9th September.  Routine, bookable appointments will be available again from Tuesday 10 September.  Thank you for your patience during this transitional period.  With your co-operation we can make it as seamless as possible and we look forward to this exciting new chapter for the practice.
