NHUC joins our local communities in remembering our Armed Forces and their families, the emergency services and those who have lost their lives during conflict. We support staff and patients in observing the two-minute silence at 11am on Remembrance Sunday (9th November) and at 11am on Remembrance Day (11th November).

Find out what Remembrance means to Katie Branczik; one of our Pyschological Wellbeing Practitioners and Army Reservist.

We have a proud history of employing and contracting with service personnel, reservists, veterans and service families, and providing healthcare services to our local Armed Forces Communities.

NHUC has made a commitment to support our Armed Forces Community via the Armed Forces Covenant (Proudly Supporting the Armed Forced Covenant – NHUC) and we are part of the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme and accredited as NHS Veteran Aware.
